Single Family Housing
With the desire to increase the low rate of homeownership in Central Delaware, NeighborGood Partners has built eight for sale homes. The houses are attractive and energy efficient, approximately 1,700 square feet with three bedrooms, two baths, and in some cases, garages. Plans are underway to build nine homes in fiscal year 2023 with elevated levels of energy efficiency to reduce utility costs for the future homeowners.
Multifamily Housing
Since 1975, NeighborGood Partners has assisted with the development of 60 apartment communities throughout the Delmarva Peninsula. Current projects underway include Millsboro Landing, a gut rehab of 34 units of family housing in Sussex County, and Villa Maria, a 74-unit senior project in Wilmington.
NeighborGood Partners' technical expertise helps sponsors wade through the necessary paperwork and assemble the financial packaging for each financing source. NeighborGood Partners has extensive expertise in a variety of multi-family housing production programs:

Nonprofit organizational development and asset management services are provided upon request. Asset management is a planning process that involves the active and strategic pursuit of an owner's long-term goals for maintenance, management, and disposition of its housing communities.
NeighborGood Partners additionally provides management services to Diamond State Community Land Trust. Land Trusts help lower income households become homeowners by retaining ownership of the land and selling only the house to the homebuyer; this reduces the mortgage and makes the home more affordable to the buyer, while keeping the property permanently affordable.
